Earthy Green Panel

The process started by  choosing from a range of beautiful, textures and shades of transparent and opaques stained glass, until I found the perfect complimentary combination. Each piece of glass was cut into swaying, organic shapes before the edges were ground smooth, copper-foiled and tin-soldered.  Then all the pieces were combined together with the copper-foiled and tin soldered glass nuggets within and onto the stainless steel wire frame.  The whole piece was then bead soldered. The  hoops were made and added to the top of the piece for the chain  to be attached to.  The final piece was thoroughly washed and polished.
